Wapello Rescue and Wapello Ambulance were dispatched to the Indian Slough Hunting Area for a hunting accident on December 6, 2009.  The hunter was hunting for deer when he was accidentally shot.  Med-Force 2 was called in to transport the patient to The University of Iowa.  Shown here is Med Force 2 along with Adam I and the Wapello Ambulance Gator Utility Vehicle equipped with the Med-Bed Attachment.Wapello Rescue Responds To Hunting Accident

On November 21, the popular Thirsty Camel Supper Club caught fire and was a total loss.  Wapello Fire responded for Mutual Aid with 119 and the Mobile Incident Command Center to refill SCBA Bottles.  Responding from Wapello were Asst. Chief Moore, Training Officer Dickey, Firefighter French, Firefighter Travis, and Firefighter Delzell.
